Wow The Pantiles food festival was a real success, with over five thousand people each day. We really enjoyed doing the cooking demonstration on both days and were blown away by the reaction. We cooked wild wood pigeon with cucumber raita on flat bread (we plucked the pigeon in front of the audience-shocked or intrigued I’m not sure which)) and then, organic Pork steaks with wild garlic aioli.
The crowd seemed to go mad for the tasters we gave out, in fact, it got a bit like we were feeding the 5 thousand.
The weather also really added to the occasion with lovely warm sun on both days, can’t wait for next year already and i hope everyone who came along enjoyed it as much as we did. Finally, massive thanks to Gaynor at Torpedo Juice who organised the event and to all the chef and front of house crew who worked so hard to set it up.
